IITs
The IITs have stayed on top of the engineering colleges list for a long time now. Birla Institute of Technology and Science

Bangalore Institute of Technology

Jadvapur University
Located in Kolkota, the Jadvapur University is one of the premier engineering colleges in India. The main campus is in Jadvapur, the heart of the city while the new campus is situated in Salt Lake about 12 kilometers from this metropolitan city. It is one of the three universities that had been set up by the British in our country.

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology

This autonomous college of engineering is located in Pune, and is affiliated to the the Savitribai Phule Pune University. This college offers almost all of the engineering degree courses as well as “Honors” and “Minors” courses for undergraduates. This engineering college has a student exchange program with with Groupe des Ecoles des Mines (GEM), France. It is also a part of the Ontario-Maharashtra-Goa (OMG) program that allows students to study in Ontario, Canada for a semester.
